Christmas action: Pro League, Clubs and supporters support Younited
Kick-off Younited Pro league: Pro League, clubs and supporters support Younited Belgium.
The Pro League and its 26 clubs kicked off the fourteenth edition of their annual Christmas campaign last weekend. Fans can bid on signed 'matchworn' shirts of players from the Jupiler Pro League and the Challenger Pro League, as well as other unique items and VIP packages. The proceeds of the auction will go entirely to social partner Younited Belgium, which supports vulnerable individuals in soccer teams and offers them perspective.
During the Christmas game day, game day 18 (STVV - Zulte Waregem, Dec 27, 2022), the Jupiler Pro League changes its name again: the league becomes the Younited Pro League. With this, the Pro League wants to highlight its bond with Younited Belgium and give the organization an extra push. All Jupiler Pro League players will again play with the Younited Belgium logo on their chest. After the final whistle, the shirts will be autographed, collected and auctioned for charity. Think autographed jerseys of Dries Mertens (Galatasaray), Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid) and the Red Devils, as well as VIP tickets to the Golden Shoe, a day in the footsteps of football commentator Aster Nzeyimana or a golf outing with Wesley Sonck.
The Christmas auction runs from Friday, Dec. 16 (noon) to Thursday, Dec. 29 (9 p.m.). To add strength to the action, we are renaming the Jupiler Pro League, this weekend, on game day 18, to Younited Pro League.
