On Monday evening, the spectators at the KVK youth academy were able to view a goal fest. Our Promises played their last away match of the season resulting in a big win against Kortrijk: 2-6. Abrahams, Erbay and Nitcheu each scored twice for the young Canaries.
On Monday evening, the B-core of STVV recieved the young team of Royal Excel Mouscron for a decisive match. With 3 more games left to pley and 6 points ahead of second place, STVV could secure the tile of PO2 regardless of the result of Sporting Charleroi. The Carolos lost at Eupen and our B-core achieved a 3-0 win. Antunes, Boli and Verbeek scored at Stayen. Our young Canaries took their 8th straight victory and crowned themselves as the winner of Play-Off 2 with 2 games left. In 2 weeks, their last home game will take place in a game against Charleroi.
On Monday evening, our Promises also made a smooth, collective win against Royal Antwerp FC. The final score was 1-4. The young home team found no answer to the goals from Van Roosebeke, Matarrese, and Casa. After the sudden 1-3, Abrahams dropped a bomb from 25m with Vandermissen taking his third assist of the night after several killer corners. The young Canaries confirm their first place in Play-Off II and with three points ahead of Sporting Charleroi.
On Monday evening, our Promises received Waasland-Beveren in the Play-Off II competition. With captain Busi in the starting eleven, STVV was strong from kick off at Stayen. The Promises won an easy three points against the young Lions. Boli had already hit four at half time. After a penalty in favor of the opposing team, Ayala added another goal in the second half. Bourard also scored this night. Final score: 6-1.
After the convincing victory in Eupen, our Promises are still in first place in Play-Off II. There is not much change to be found in the classification as Antwerp, Kortrijk and Charleroi also gained three-points.
